Such was the marquee event on the southeast corner of Shaw Avenue and First Street the other day. I was dragged out of bed to drive to the event. I was to stand in line among screaming and Starbucks-drinking parents and teens wanting to get a great deal at the opening of the store. A long line started to form in no time. Teens and young adults want to put their hands on the good quality clothes displayed on Plato's closets. They wanted to pay for the brands such as Lucky Brand Jeans, Coach, Paper Denim & cloth, 7 For All Mankind and Abercrombie and Fitch, DKNY etc. Plato's Closet displayed. Some of the merchandise you can find at the store are: slippers, colorful clothes, petite clothing, Junior's, handbags, shoes, purses, wallets etc.

Soccer is in my veins. I played the game in high school and college. I still coach and watch it whenever I have some time. The biggest event the world has ever known will happen in Germany comes June or July 2006. FIFA officials are pretty excited about all the teams that will represent their countries. So far, the US team is in a death group with Italy and others.

It will be interesting to see whether the US team will prevail. I am optimistic about its chances. Better players and coach will lead to victory.
